Basket making is a product of Delapaz.  The baskets are made in two sizes. The larger size seen in the photos and a mini size. The baskets are sold into Batangas City for  packing mangos.  The mangos are then sent to be processed for export markets. Mangos may be sold fresh, dried, canned or processed into other food products.  The small size is often used for Delong, a tiny fish that is cooked whole.

The Jeepney was derived from World War II U.S. Army "Jeeps".  The first Jeepneys were made from elongated Jeeps.  Today the Jeepneys are made from new and surplus parts.  Most use Isusu surplus diesel engines.  The bodies are custom manufactured in the Philippines.
